Amenities - Usage Guidelines

The following policies are meant to keep our amenities clean and safe. Please adhere to them. Thank you.

• ECHO MILL HOA GUEST POLICY: Each household is allowed four (4) non-resident guests at a time in the Echo Mill amenity areas (i.e. pools, basketball and tennis courts, volleyball sand court, soccer field, and nature trail). However, there are no limitations on non-residents guests for private parties with clubhouse rentals.
• CLUBHOUSE RENTALS: Do NOT include the use of the pools during the event for which the clubhouse has been rented; as pool parties are NOT allowed in Echo Mill.
• NO SMOKING: Smoking is not allowed at ANY of the amenity areas – this includes in and around clubhouses, pools, volleyball sand court, basketball and tennis courts, playgrounds, soccer field, nature trail, parking lots, and pavilions.
• TRASH PICK UP: All residents and their guests are responsible for cleaning up and disposing of trash in the Waste Management rolling receptacles after any event, whether social or organized (i.e. ALTA tennis, practices, etc.). As a courtesy to others please attempt to leave the area cleaner than how you found it.
• NO GLASS CONTAINERS: No glass containers are allowed at ANY of the amenity areas – this includes in the pool areas, basketball and tennis courts, volleyball sand court, soccer field, playgrounds, nature trail and pavilions.
• TENNIS AND BASKETBALL COURT SURFACES: Proper tennis and basketball footwear must be worn while on the courts. Any equipment that marks or damages the playing surface is prohibited (including, but not limited to, black-bottom sneakers, roller blades, roller skates, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, etc.).
• PETS: Residents are responsible for picking up and properly dispose of their pet’s poop. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN THE POOL OR POOL AREAS, PLAYGROUND AREAS, TENNIS COURTS, BASKETBALL COURTS AND VOLLEYBALL SAND COURT. As a courtesy to your neighbors and in respect for the Leash Laws of Cobb County, please do not let your pets run free on your unfenced property and/or in the neighborhood. Unsupervised dogs and other pets are a danger to themselves as well as others.
• GOLF CARTS – The use of golf carts fall under Georgia traffic laws that deal with vehicles that are categorized as Low Speed Vehicles (LSV). All owners of LSVs should completely familiarize themselves and any users with all applicable laws concerning their operation and use. The EMHOA Board advises all LSV owners that they are responsible for any and all insurance, safety equipment, knowledge of all local, State and Federal laws concerning LSVs, traffic infractions and accidents that may occur by operating these vehicles in and around Echo Mill. If you own an LSV, please make sure you are in compliance with any and all Georgia traffic laws. The Cobb County Police Department recommends you review Georgia Traffic statues: 40-1-1-25.1, 40-1-1-25.32, 40-1-1-25.33,40-1-1-19, 40-1-3, 40-8. The driver of any golf cart MUST carry their current Driver’s License with them while driving the golf cart on any road within Echo Mill. You must also obey the Posted Speed Limit in our neighborhood of 25 MPH. NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED ON THE NATURE TRAIL AND CAN NOT BE PARKED IN ANY GRASSY AREAS.
